Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage
Handcrafted by artisans with over a decade of embroidery experience using China’s intangible cultural heritage Suzhou embroidery technique: The hibiscus pattern is rendered with dense satin stitching, featuring uniformly smooth stitches at 15 stitches per square centimeter, with colors naturally complementing the shoe upper. In Chinese culture, the hibiscus flower symbolizes “resilience, beauty, and perpetual vitality.” The open-back design integrates modern minimalist aesthetics, making these shoes a wearable embodiment of intangible cultural heritage that bridges traditional craftsmanship with everyday functionality.

Care Instructions
- For canvas uppers, hand wash in cold water using a mild detergent. Gently rub the fabric and lightly brush embroidered areas with a soft-bristled brush dipped in water. Avoid bleach to prevent fading of embroidery threads and distortion of the fabric.
- After washing, blot surface moisture with a towel. Stuff the shoes with paper towels to maintain shape (especially protecting the toe curve). Lay flat to dry in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight (to prevent material aging and color fading).
- For sole stains, wipe with a damp cloth first. Before storage, place shoes in dust bags and store in a dry location. Avoid contact with sharp objects to extend the lifespan of your footwear.
