Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage
Hand-embroidered by artisans with over a decade of experience using China’s intangible cultural heritage Suzhou embroidery technique: Delicate blue water lily patterns are rendered with dense satin stitching, featuring uniformly fine stitches at 15 stitches per square centimeter. The ivory-white base fabric accentuates the vibrant embroidery. In Chinese culture, the water lily symbolizes “purity, nobility, auspiciousness, and tranquility,” a classic motif celebrated by literati and artists. These shoes blend traditional embroidery with natural aesthetics, transforming into wearable carriers of intangible cultural heritage.

Care Instructions
- For canvas uppers, hand wash in cold water using a mild detergent. Gently rub the fabric and lightly brush embroidered areas with a soft-bristled brush dipped in water. Avoid bleach to prevent fading of embroidery threads and yellowing of the fabric.
- After washing, blot surface moisture with a towel. Stuff the shoes with paper towels to maintain shape, then lay flat to dry in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight (to prevent material deterioration and color fading).
- For sole stains, wipe clean with a damp cloth first. Before long-term storage, place shoes in dust bags and store in a dry location. Avoid storing with dark-colored garments to prevent dye transfer, thereby extending the shoes’ lifespan.
