Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage
Hand-stitched by master artisans with over 12 years of embroidery experience using intangible heritage Suzhou embroidery techniques: The phoenix’s wings are embroidered with gradient gold thread at 18 stitches per square centimeter, while auspicious cloud patterns are rendered with layered flat-stitch embroidery. In Chinese culture, the phoenix symbolizes “auspiciousness and nobility.” Paired with auspicious clouds, it signifies “endless fortune.” Sima Xiangru’s “The Phoenix Seeks Its Mate” further imbues it with the meaning of perfect love. This is a truly wearable intangible cultural heritage piece.

Shoe Cleaning and Care Instructions
The upper features embroidered fabric; avoid wearing in rainy weather to prevent waterlogging. Before washing, brush off mud from the soles. Hand wash gently in cold water with a neutral detergent. For the phoenix embroidery, use a soft-bristled brush dipped in water to gently clean. Do not use bleach. After washing, blot dry with a towel. Stuff the shoes with paper towels to maintain shape, then lay flat to air-dry away from direct sunlight (to prevent embroidery thread fading and fabric distortion). Store in a dust bag to avoid contact with hard objects. Rotate wearing regularly to extend longevity.
